We decided to hike a couple of trails at Cochran Mill Park on Saturday. None of us had been there before, so we were very excited to go. The park's web site, cochranmillpark.com, states there are 18 miles of multi-use trails that are shared by hikers, horseback riders, mountain bikers, and trail runners. There are a few cascades and small waterfalls on the orange and green trails, so that's where we started. The paths weren't always clearly marked, but we found our way to the edge of the green trail and back through the orange. In total, we hiked about 3.3 miles through easy to moderate terrain. We even took a break so Drew and Brenna could cool off in the creek. We plan to return to complete the yellow trail next, then eventually the red.
